Mind over muscle
About Me

Hi, I'm Nitya a passionate sixteen-year-old athlete based in Singapore. I am currently studying in the 11th grade at Tanglin Trust School Singapore. I started swimming at the age of eight and competitively at the age of eleven.
So far, I have competed in ten national as well as school-level swimming competitions and secured a position in three of them.

In the 53rd Singapore National age group competition I managed to secure a spot in the top 20 finalists for 200 meter backstroke, although I did not get a best time, I was extremely thrilled I was able to make the top 20 for the finals for the first time.
As well in the 2024 South-East Asia Student Athletic Competition (SEASAC) competition for cross country, our Tanglin Trust team secured the spot of 2nd out of 11 schools. I have currently ran two half marathons, and my goal is to complete a full one by the time I am 18. Another one of my goals is to complete an ironman.

Through this blog, I intend to share all the knowledge and experience I have gained in my years of swimming and sports with my fellow endurance athletes of the world! I want to share tips and tricks, psychological aspects, and healthy eating tips.

My aspirations are to pursue psychology in University and delve into the sports aspect of the topic.

I want people to learn from my learnings as well as mistakes! I hope my content reaches people currently striving to get better at sports! Because that's what I'm constantly striving for!
